Oh, and I also noticed that the bags of chicken breasts, which I have been buying for years, have been reduced from three pounds to two pounds, with the price remaining the same. Very irritating!

(Also, they moved all the chicken this week to make room for the Thanksgiving turkeys. It may be that your chicken was still there, but in a different location. Ours was over by the seafood, and I had to ask where it was.)

He'll be deep-frying the turkey again this year. Mmmmm. Don't worry, I will take all your leftovers. I love turkey sandwiches, with a nice sharp cheddar and some spicy mustard.
Yum!

Liz, thanks for clearing that up. I should have asked sooner, living near all these chickens.

One of my BILs made fried turkey last year, and I think the two years before that also. It was good - but still tastes like turkey to me.

I like ham, or maybe just any meat that is salty. And sandwiches, hot or cold. I like assembling my food between slices of bread.

I experienced the exact same chicken phenomenon today at Kroger.

They are chicken farms.

Have you ever had deep fried turkey. It's amazing. I love cold turkey sandwiches the next day. A little iceberg lettuce and mayo with salt and pepper. Love it. I have a weird love for cold meat.

The texture of normal oven roasted chicken is far from my fave. Pass the ham.
