Do Not Configure Email While Tired
After spending hours filing and trying to organize my life, I attacked the inbox. Again. Gmail is the packrats email. It encourages you to keep EVERYTHING. I hate this. Other than that. I like it.
So, I download Thunderbird and stupidly configure the pop server. And then, when it doesn’t sync properly, discover, I should have configured imap. Now, instead of the 300 messages that I had purged down to… or thought I had. I downloaded duplicates and now have over 3000 messages. I’m not sure of the total yet. I’m still watching my mess.

Fabulous.
On the up side, I made $50 on a survey today, and managed not to run into any squad cars. The research company shares a parking lot with a police department. So whenever you go to a study, you’re surrounded by police cars. Strangely, I have never seen actual police there, just their cars.

DD started her third year of ballet today. It was the usual first class of the season debacle. I arrived a few minutes early to pick her up. Class had just started. There was a two year old in there, mucking about. The mom, who appears to be an employee was very encouraging and excited. I am not too pleased that my child spent half the class time listening to the teacher tell the two year old to get back in line and sit down and that it’s not her turn yet.
And there were about eighteen kids in the class, which is enormous.
I’m sure that children will drop out, or the class will be split. Or both. It always happens that way. But the first class or two are always a cluster. And I do my best not to observe. But clearly, arriving five minutes before dismissal time was not enough anticipation of the debacle that was today’s class.

Of course, I have an exceptionally yuk attitude, because I feel yuk. I have a head cold and have not slept properly. Either, can’t sleep due to congestion, or can’t sleep due to medicine. Ugh. I refuse to let this cold win.
