Goulash Recipe and Bad Attitude

As I’m looking in my refrigerator and pantry today, I also take a look at allrecipes.com.  I enter in two of the various ingredients I might want to use, cream of mushroom soup and ground beef.  I find Goulash II, and a host of snippy comments about it.

I don’t know the author of Goulash II.  But I’m thinking why go here?  What is with the bad attitude?  Okay, you don’t like the recipe, don’t like the title, whatever.  I don’t get why the snottiness is necessary.  Are these high school students or something?  If not, then they really need help, as in prayer.

Goulash II – Allrecipes

Not only is this not “goulash” this is not a recipe. This is a “dump”!

Poor allrecipes is now tainted by the same type of idiots who frequent message boards.  How sad.  That’s my cooking and society lament for today.  Now I shall return to my pantry which my husband overstocked and try to figure out how to reduce its contents into our dinner.

I bet ground beef and COM soup could be made into some kindof shepherd’s pie concoction.

I’ve noticed some on allrecipes harshly criticize a recipe when many others rave about after they admit to changing it and it not turning out well. I think people blame the recipe for their lack of cooking abilities/understanding.

I’ve found lots of veggie recipes on the CDC’s website I thought you might like with it’s specific search options.

I bet all of the cooks over at foodnetwork are sending trashy recipes over there so people will come back to them, and even start buying cook books. Yes, it’s a conspiracy. This is the way to save the economy–start buying cookbooks and not go freebie online.

Goulash just sounds disgusting. Us cultured types know that it really just means stew, but to the untrained eater it sounds like the waste products from a 12th century European prison.

Haven’t seen anything from you in a while. Merry Christmas, Chappy Chanukah, and all that jazz!
