That is amazing. I have stored the for a long time in the past. They keep well with refrigeration. But they don't have that farm fresh taste after a while... at least with just leaving them in the carton in the refrigerator. @Aaron - Maybe it was a meat pudding? It sounds icky. @Liz - I am a fan of allrecipes too. Yum. @Susan – Blaming the drier is good, one of my favorites.

That reminds me when I went to boyfriend's Thanksgiving and I saw mincemeat pie for the first time. I still have no idea what mincemeat is. Allrecipes has some nice quiche recipes. At my favorite restaurant, Sonny's, we call it meatbread because it looks like they just threw all the leftover meat scraps into the bread dough and called it a day. On a good week we can eat 18 eggs easily. They are Alex's favorite breakfast food, and we use them in pancake mix and I love hard-boiled eggs/egg salad. One of my online groups has been posting about methods of egg storage. Since eggs from the supermarket have been stored for months already, fresh eggs keep for a very long time! You can extend that time through some bizarre storage methods, but I know people who have a steady year-round supply of eggs because they keep for so long. Also, apparently you shouldn't wash fresh eggs until just before you cook them. (I didn't know this, you may have already.) I can’t wait to get chickens. On a good week we can eat 18 eggs easily.
