Cancer has hit three people in my immediate family, and none have survived it. Come to think of it, I just spent 104 euros on bras today in my annual bra-shopping trauma er, trip. A voluntary mastectomy might not take too long to pay for itself... I wish her well. I'm glad she went public with her fight; that couldn't have been easy. That would absolutely be my decision too.
