More earrings for bribery
DD wants new earrings. I want her to sleep in her own room.
She had been sleeping in her own room. But when my current job was new, and she started at a new school she freaked out about sleeping in her room and would wake up screaming several times per night. Some would tough that out. But I chose sleep. (I found it impossible to concentrate at work with very little sleep.)
Ten months later, she is still sleeping in my room most of the time. Although, she does not mind the sofa, which is on the same floor. And she does take naps in her own bed under protest.
I have a pair of earrings that I’m going to give her when she sleeps in her own bed consecutively for a week. So far, it is not going as well as the earrings for staying dry trade. She didn’t mind that. She really does not want to sleep in her bed.
Fortunately, she does want the earrings.
