One liners as a genetic component?

My SIL recently asked me what is up with all the one-liners on this blog. They are just my random thoughts.

Then I remembered that when I spoke to my Aunt, she said that her husband reads a lot of self-help books. And she says to herself, why do you keep reading them, aren’t they working?

And there it is, the same kind of one-liner formatted thought.

Of course, I told her I found this statement hilarious, but understood why she doesn’t say it out loud. And her response was, that is probably because we are related.

So maybe my thought process is not so random.

D teases me all the time because he can’t follow the way that my mind jumps around. I can’t fault him for it, because usually the connection my brain is making is pretty far fetched, but there always is a connection! Either that, or I will return to a conversation we were having twenty minutes earlier as if no time had passed and expect him to figure out what I’m talking about. :-)

    People are weird.
